Church of Saint Egidius
There are seven churches preserved from the past in the Osilnica Valley, and each one is something special. The oldest church is the Church of Saint Egidius in Ribjek, whose main altar bears the year 1681. The church was built at the turn of the 16th to 17th century in the late Renaissance style. As the construction was gradual, the interior decoration is mostly Baroque. The main altar was built at the time of the church’s construction, while the two side altars were built later, in 1697.The exterior of the church is richly decorated with stitched borders, painted window spandrels, consecration crosses and remains of frescoes. The fully preserved late Renaissance architecture is enriched with high-quality early Baroque furnishings such as Baroque altars, pulpit and painted coffered wooden ceiling in the nave. The church is also adorned with a bell tower on a horsetail roof covered with shingles, which is quite unusual for this area.

Nezica Waterfall
In Slovenia we have many diverse natural sights, which are not arrogantly magnificent, but modestly hidden. This also applies to tufa formations. The Prifarski jarak originates in the headwaters above the settlement of Tišenpolj, between Planica and Vrana stena at an altitude of 350 meters. In the past, there was an underground karst cave under the spring, that people destroyed because of the tufa so they used to build houses. The stream used to be more important, as people set up mills and sawmills next to it, but today it is mostly known for the 15 meters high waterfall Nežica.

Lake Resko
When the Reški stream sinkhole was dammed under the Kočevska reka in the 1970s, Lake Reško with approximately 20 hectares in size, was created. The stream river bed was about 3000 m long. Three mills and a sawmill stood next to it in the past. They were called the Upper, Middle, and Lower Mills. Today, piles of stones and a few walls by the water are barely reminiscent of the ruins of the buildings.

Jelovicka Cave
Jelovička Cave was discovered in 1941. The entrance to the cave is located under a 20-meter vertical wall and opens at the beginning of a 330-meter-long torrent bed, which is very picturesque with large stone blocks overgrown with moss. The Kotnica streams originate from the Jelovička Cave, and after about 300 meters they flow into the Kolpa.
The cave is 184 meters long and 30 meters wide. At the beginning, the cave descends for a while, and then slowly rises to the end. We descend into the cave along a clayey slope, along which a stream flows, which originates in the cave and flows underground to the river Kolpa. During heavy rains, an underground stream erupts from the cave, flooding the cave almost to the ceiling.

In it, nature has shaped various human, animal and superstitious characters. Bilpa consists of four caves, the last of which was discovered only in 1983. The entrance to the caves is in a wall about 30 meters above the road, it is 8 meters wide and 6 meters high.
