The River Kolpa
The River Kolpa is a tourist destination in the far south-eastern part of Slovenia. This green beauty is comprised of a 113km-long strip of land which borders the Republic of Croatia. The river is one of the warmest and intact rivers in Slovenia. Passing along more than 50 ancient dams from Osilnica, Kostel, Kočevje, Črnomelj, Semič and Metlika, it is a magnificent location for a grand variety of activities and an unforgettable holiday. The river is particularly popular in the summer months, as the water’s temperature rises up to 30°C.

The adrenaline park is a polygon made up of tall wooden pillars on which various exercises can be performed, which can be overcome individually or in groups. The Krokar Virgin Forest
The Krokar virgin forest represents the beauty and intactness of the primal beech forests on the surface of over 75 hectares. It is a strict reservation, also part of the Natura 2000 area, and represents the ecosystem of a constantly changing balance between soil, climate and countless living organisms – from microscopic organisms to bears. Only the laws of nature apply here, so people consciously keep out. We can enter it only by looking at it from the Borovec natural trail. Krokar is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage List with the forest reserve Snežnik-Ždročlje, which is testimony to its exceptional importance.
