Bosljiva Loka – Kobila – Saddle Krempe – Borovec

Hiking trail: Bosljiva Loka – Kobila – Sedlo Krempe – Borovec

Length of route: 5,7km
Altitude difference: 602m
Difficulty: medium

The path begins at a power pole and initially follows a cart track. After 100 meters, we turn right up a path that soon becomes steeper. At the saddle or just before it, we notice several small paths leading left towards the ridge. When we reach the power pole on the ridge, we are on the right path. The ridge ascends gently, but at some of the peaks, it is necessary to step over a higher step. The path is not heavily trodden, but it is marked and easy to follow. After each peak, there is a small descent. The peak of Kobile is constantly in view. From here, we descend steeply and only see the peak when we are right at it. After the descent, we continue slightly left and bypass the proposed ridge tooth. The pine trees here are taller and block the views. The path soon merges with the one that starts at Mirtoviči (and continues along the stream valley). The path rises steeply to the ridge, and after about 200 meters of elevation, we reach the crossing to Kremparski Saddle. The path is quite narrow in places, and we need to be particularly careful when crossing stream beds. It leads almost horizontally to the intersection with the path from Borovec near Kočevska Reka, where we continue left. We continue on an increasingly steep path that leads us along the ridge of Borovška Mountain. Higher up, the marked path turns right, but we continue left along an unmarked path, which rises steeply for a while before bringing us to an inconspicuous viewpoint where it flattens out. The path then traverses the slopes to the right, then turns slightly left and, after a short climb, brings us to the saddle between Krokar on the left and Cerka on the right. Here, we continue left, and along a less visible path, which runs along the edge of the steep cliffs, we reach the summit in a few minutes.
